It took months longer than anticipated, but visa approval has finally arrived. Tickets are booked for a Dec. 6 departure to India, giving us time to tuck in some turkey over Thanksgiving, finalize our packing list, raise a final glass of tequila and hit the Himalayas just in time to see the snow fly.
